WHAT: JiffyCon is a one day mini role-playing convention. Focusing on small-press, independently published and story-oriented games, JiffyCon is a whole day devoted to nothing but having fun playing games! Snacks, beverages and lunch will be provided. Local game designers and authors will be on hand to run and play their games. Games scheduled include: Shock: - Social Science Fiction Mortal Coil - the supernatural and the sublime Mechaton - fighty lego robots Breaking the Ice - the road to romance Steal Away Jordan - slaves in the antebellum US South And some specially featured playtests: Poison'd - Betrayal and murder on the high seas Miss Schiffer's School for Young Ladies of Quality - finishing school for adventure Misspent Youth - rebel against the Authority Adventures in the Land of 1000 Kings - cross into a fantastic world Dangerous Dungeons - the rpg that your Mother warned you about The designers describe their games in playtest here. Fit some quality gaming into your busy schedule! HOW: JiffyCon will be organized into three blocks, with the morning and afternoon blocks devoted to scheduled games. In the evening we'll share a sit-down dinner at a nearby restaurant, followed by pickup games at someone's house.
